I still haven't had time to listen to the album :S
I hope they're gonna play a lot of Bright Eyes songs next month.

Yeah I just found a seller :) But to be honest I really don't mind that I'm not going. It wouldn't be any fun because I don't know their music. I'd rather see Conor next time he comes with Bright Eyes.

you mean a buyer :D

Yeah I know what you mean. I wanted to see him cause it's Conor and I'll always want to see conor, but I'd prefer Bright Eyes a whole lot more. So he better does a fantastic tour next year.

So I gave the MOF album a few listens and it's not THAT great. I think out of Conor's last three albums my favourite is the self titled.

I want that las Bright Eyes album already, that's his best work.

Apparently they're recording it already.
But I don't really have that much faith in it. I don't know. It seems about 10 years ago that I listened to Bright Eyes.

I've been listening to Cassadaga a lot in the car. I am amazed at how good it is and how I thought it wasn't that good 2 years ago.

I never stop listening to Bright Eyes and Muse. I'm so happy I can balance that, cause Conor means way too much to me to leave him behind :)

I think I'll listen to the self titled tomorrow

I've never been good at balancing, hehe.
The difference between Conor and Muse for me is that almost all Conor songs are linked to things my life, and Muse songs aren't. So I can always listen to Muse, but I don't always want to listen to Conor. Only sometimes I suddenly really feel like listening to a song.. like two days ago I listened to The Trees Get Wheeled Away and it still amazed me how brilliant it is.

I know exactly what you mean. It's too easy to feel connected to Conor's songs, whereas I can't say I relate to Muse's lyrics because they aren't so... graphic, or real. That of course doesn't make them less brilliant. I love both Conor and Matt too much, hehe.

The Trees Get Wheeled away blows me away too, I was listening to Noise Floor a few days ago, what a great bunch of songs :)

Last night I couldn't sleep because I had Cape Canaveral stuck in my head and I felt like running through my street and shouting VICTORY IS SWEET EVEN DEEP IN THE CHEAP SEATS.

CARO! Have you pre ordered the new Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley band thing already?

The shipping is a lot more than the cd/dvd itself.

It's not really new and it's not shipping until April or something. But it's cheap.

I can't believe I'm seeing him this Friday!
I actually keep forgetting :O and it's going to be really weird, it's half seated? And he has these two girls on stage with him who sing, apparently. I hope it will be good!

Please take some pics :)

And I'm sure it will be good, it's our Conor! And now you can be happier about seeing him cause you see Muse little after.

I want you to be happy to see Conor :( realise how lucky you are, look at me!

But I'm happy to see him :) If I wasn't I wouldn't go. And you're right, at least now it won't launch me into a big post/pre-Muse depression because I won't have to wait that long anymore.

And I'm not sure if I'll take photos! And if I do it will just be with my phone so they won't be good.
