Uno

Lyrics

This means nothing to me,
cos you are nothing to me,
And it means nothing to me that you blew this away.
Cos you could have been number one
if you only found the time,
And you could have ruled the whole world,
if you had the chance.

You could have been number one,
and you could have ruled the whole world,
And we could have had so much fun,
but you blew it away.

You're still nothing to me,
and this is nothing to me,
And you don't know what you've done,
but I'll give you a clue.
You could have been number one,
if you only had the chance,
And you could have ruled the whole world,
if you had the time.

You could have been number one,
and you could have ruled the whole world,
And we could have had so much fun,
but you blew it away.
You could have been number one,
and you could have ruled the whole world,
And we could have had so much fun,
but you blew it away.

People's comments

MicroCutter: ahh... another classic!cool tango rythm, and the lyrics are easy to understand.the live version kicks ass too
[BliSS]: shall i be honest?i dont really like this songit´s one of those that i omit playing when i play showbizi also have a live version and never listen to iti cant help it.. i dont like it
DEmentia eyes: in hullabaloo dvd it´s one of the best songs.......he crashed the guitar in an amp.....wooww!!!!!!
Dagger: Just 3 comments?? I mean, this is one of the GREATEST SONGS by muse! What are you thinking?Have you heard this wicked-tango-rock thing? Yes, this is a real tango. You can even dance it (and when the chorus come in, you can kill your pair, yes). It´s way better than its ´second part´, hypermusic (it´s not a tango, but the theme is the same).
...: this is my least favourite muse song EVAR. it´s terrible, especially the lyrics. ugh. i always thought they should have replaced this song on showbiz with coma.
Beckeh: I do like it, quite a lot, but it´s not my favourite song on the album.
Dinandtotti: It´s just fucking great.
funkygroßangriff: great great great...probably the beat baseline in all muse songs!!!
funkygroßangriff: i meant ´best´ basline.... sorry
themarsvolta: to me it is also one of the greatest muse songs ever. it has so much power. but to me it is one of the vey few songs that doesn´t sound too good live. i prefer the studio version. the video is amazing too. and to ´...´ i think coma is one of the weaker songs of muse, at least it is nothing special and uno is fuckin special.
Mused: I love it. Especially the beginning, it´s so strong, and I love the ´Tangoparts´ in it.
hina: It´s my favourite song. That´s all.
susana: tango parts in it... well, not one of my favourite, but the chorus is very good and meaningful...
tommytoothpaste no 1 muse fan: what can i say great
bakestain: Cool song. Matt screaming ´YOU COULD HAVE BEEN NUMBER OOOOOOOOOOOONE´ is awesome.
margaux: this song is the prefect exemple of what i think MUSE is.it´s not like this band or like that band,it´s MUSE and they use every kind of music they like to use.uno´s beautiful
lulu: what can i say? you either love it or you hate it just like marmite :)
